Canvas Printing for the Professional Photographer and Artist

Welcome to Canvas Giclée Printing!  Our printing shop officially opened at 1018 Lake Park Blvd in Carolina Beach, NC in November 2011.  The web-based printing service offers quality giclée prints to photographers and artists – professional or amateur.  Owner and CEO, Joshua McClure has over 30 years of experience as a printer and a photographer.  Josh is as skilled and knowledgeable about fine art printing as anyone in the business. He prints his own local coastal Carolina photography which can be found in many homes and businesses around the Cape Fear area.  His photography can be viewed and purchased at our gallery website fineartgalleryoncanvas.com.

One of the first things people want to know is what is a giclée and how is it pronounced? Giclée (zhee-clay) is a term derived from the French word meaning to “squirt or spray” and has come to mean any high resolution ink-jet print produced from a computer generated file.  At Canvas GicléePrinting.com digital images such as photographs are reproduced on canvas or fine art paper resulting in a giclée print.  While most people choose canvas giclée prints which are gallery wrapped and ready to hang on the wall, some prefer paper giclées which are suitable for matting and framing.

The CanvasGicléePrinting.com website is easy to use with a pricing calculator which gives customers an immediate cost for a print and a user-friendly art uploader.  Just follow the prompts and, if needed, help is just a phone call away at (910) 538-5412.  Josh takes a great deal of pride in his attention to detail and excellent customer service.

Production Manager Mike Champlin, with years of experience as a master carpenter, is responsible for keeping the factory running from 9 AM to 5PM Monday – Friday.  Orders can be placed using the website 24 hours a day.  Mike is in charge of making sure your canvas print is stretched and with hardware attached, carefully boxed and shipped to you.  We are also able to drop ship orders to any location.  New to our staff is Richard Lettau who has moved to Carolina Beach from Rochester, NY.  Richard brings a background rich in computer software/hardware support and years of experience working with Eastman Kodak Corporation.  Richard will be in charge of printing. Our team is service oriented and determined to produce the finest canvas giclée prints possible from your photograph or artwork.  Let us print your photos on canvas!  Let us replicate your artwork as a canvas or paper giclée!
